The City of Round Rock provides water wastewater, garbage and recycling services to residents, and expects payment for these services by the due date printed on your monthly utility bill. Ways To Pay Your Round Rock Utility Bill

The City of Round Rock offers several convenient options for paying your utility bill on time:

Online Payment

The easiest way to pay your utility bill is online through the City of Round Rock website You can make a one-time payment or set up automatic monthly payments directly from your bank account The online payment system accepts major credit cards, Walmart Pay, and eCheck.

To pay online, go to roundrocktexas.gov/onlinepayment and select “Utility Billing” from the dropdown menu. You’ll need your account number and CID number printed on your bill to log in.

Phone Payment

Call 1-855-894-2392 to pay your Round Rock utility bill over the phone. Like with online payments you’ll need your account and CID numbers. Phone payments can be made with credit/debit cards or eCheck.

24-Hour Drop Box

A secure drop box for check or money order payments is located outside City Hall along Bagdad Avenue. Payments left in the 24-hour drop box will be credited to your account the next business day.

In-Person Payment

You can pay your utility bill in-person at City Hall, located at 221 E Main St, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, excluding holidays. The Utility Billing department accepts cash, checks, money orders, and credit/debit cards.

When To Pay Your Round Rock Utility Bill

Utility bills are mailed out monthly and payment is due 21 days after the statement date. Your specific due date is printed on each bill.

If your due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payment is due the next business day. Late fees apply if payment is not received by 5pm on the due date.

Account Numbers

Your Round Rock utility account number is located on your bill and required for all payment options. New residents will be assigned an account number when service is established.

Late Fees

A 10% late fee is charged if payment is not received by the due date. Failure to receive a bill does not waive late fees.

Disconnection

If your account remains unpaid after the due date, a disconnection notice will be sent stating utility services are subject to disconnection if the past due amount is not paid in full within 10 days. A $50 disconnection fee applies if services are physically disconnected for non-payment.

Moving In Or Out Of Round Rock

When moving to a new home in Round Rock, you must establish utility services in your name by submitting a residential service application.

Likewise, remember to disconnect services when moving out of Round Rock. Complete the disconnect service request form at least 3 days before your move date to schedule shut off and avoid additional charges.
