As a resident of Phoenix I want to share the easiest ways I’ve found to pay the water bill so you can check this task off your to-do list quickly and painlessly.

Understanding Your Phoenix Water Bill

Before paying your bill you first need to understand what’s on it. Your City of Phoenix water bill contains charges for

• Water usage – How much water you used based on your water meter readings The more you use, the higher this charge

• Sewer usage – A charge based on your water usage since used water goes into the sewer system.

• Environmental charge – Covers water quality protection and conservation programs.

• Service charge – A fixed monthly charge for having an active water account.
