How to Pay Your North Port Utilities Bill Online, by Phone, or In Person

Paying your monthly utilities bill in North Port, Florida is easy thanks to the variety of options offered by the city. As a resident, I appreciate how convenient North Port makes it to pay my water, sewer, and other city utility fees. In this article, I’ll walk through the different ways you can pay your North Port utilities bill either online, by phone, or in person at City Hall.

Overview of North Port Utilities Billing

North Port Utilities provides water, sewer, and other utility services to residents and covers the costs through monthly billing. Here are some key things to know about how billing works:

  • Bills are issued on a 30-day cycle. Your due date is listed on your bill.

  • The two main charges are a base facility charge and a consumption charge. The base charge covers fixed costs like infrastructure and personnel. The consumption charge covers the amount of water and sewer service you actually used.

  • Bills are considered delinquent if not paid within 21 days of being issued, A late fee applies after 21 days,

  • If a bill remains unpaid, a disconnection notice will be sent out listing a shutoff date. To avoid service interruption, payment must be received by that date

  • Even if service is disconnected, you still owe the past due balance and fees. Service won’t be restored until the full amount is paid.

As you can see, it’s important to pay your North Port utilities bill on time each month. The good news is the city offers various convenient payment options.
