For quick and paperless bill payment, the easiest method is to pay online through SmartHub. As MVEA’s online member portal, SmartHub allows you to securely access your account details and make payments 24/7.

To start, you’ll need to create a SmartHub account and register your MVEA account number. Once your account is connected, you can:

• View your current electric usage and billing history
• Pay your bill immediately with just a few clicks
• Set up recurring auto-payments or schedule future payments
• Go paperless by opting into e-bills instead of paper bills

To make a one-time payment by phone, simply call MVEA’s billing office at (800) 388-9881 during business hours (Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm). You’ll need to provide your 10-digit account number and routing information for the checking or savings account where you’d like payment withdrawn.

For added convenience, MVEA also offers an automated pay-by-phone system available 24/7. To use the automated system dial (877) 999-3415 and follow the prompts. Make sure to have your account number and payment details handy.

Paying by Mail

If you prefer the classic route of mailing a check or money order, MVEA has you covered there too. Each monthly bill includes a payment stub and mailing envelope so you can easily pay by mail. Simply:

• Fill out the payment stub with your account number and payment amount
• Make the check or money order payable to Mountain View Electric Association
• Mail the payment and stub in the envelope provided

To ensure proper crediting, make sure your account number is written clearly on the check or money order. We recommend mailing your payment at least 5-7 days before the due date to allow time for delivery and processing.

While not as fast as online or phone payments, paying by mail is a reliable way to make sure your electric bill is taken care of each month. The provided remittance envelope takes the guesswork out of addressing and postage.

For members who want to hand-deliver their payments or speak to customer service in-person, MVEA maintains two local offices:

Both offices are open Monday-Thursday from 7am-5:30pm. When you come by to pay your bill, be sure to bring:
