Online Bill Pay

The easiest way to pay your Moon Lake Electric bill is online through SmartHub. You can set up an account on SmartHub through the Moon Lake Electric website or mobile app. Once your account is created, you can:

Pay By Phone

If you prefer to speak to a real person, Moon Lake Electric’s customer service team is available by phone Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM Call toll-free anytime during business hours and a representative can take your payment over the phone.

They’ll just need your account number and details of the payment you want to make. You can pay by debit/credit card or electronic check over the phone. It’s fast, easy, and takes just a few minutes.

Pay By Mail

For members who don’t have internet access or prefer not to pay online, Moon Lake Electric still offers payment by physical check or money order by mail.

You’ll receive a monthly paper bill in the mail. Simply write a check for the amount due, place it in the return envelope provided, and drop it in the mailbox. As long as it’s postmarked by the due date, your payment will be applied to your account.

Paying by mail does take a few days for delivery time. Be sure to mail your payment 1-2 weeks before the due date to ensure it arrives on time. Late payments may incur a fee.

Pay In Person

You can also pay your Moon Lake Electric bill in person at one of their local offices. Offices are located in:

Register Your Account (Web)

Both platforms are part of Moon Lake Electric Association, Inc.’s online account management system for members. The website has additional functionality that allows members to manage notifications, update their stored payment methods, and change their personal information. Both the web version and mobile app allow members to securely access their account information, view bills and payment history, make payments, view energy use, and report outages. The free, secure mobile app is available to download and install on mobile devices and tablets.

Yes. All critical information is encrypted in every transaction run and no personal information is stored on your phone or tablet. Mobile devices do offer you the ability to store your login information for apps installed on the device. If you choose to store your login information, any person who has access to your mobile device can access your account.

You can find your account number on a printed bill statement mailed to your residence or business. If you have previously received emails from Moon Lake Electric Association, Inc. about your monthly bill being ready to pay online, your account number is provided in that email. You can also call Moon Lake Electric Association, Inc. at (435) 722-5400 for assistance. *** OR *** Your new account number will be listed on your latest bill. You can also look it up here. (Note: You will need your Customer Number, which you can find on your last bill.) Members who participate in paperless billing do not receive a copy of their bill in the mail.
