One-Time Payment Through Your Online Account

If you have a Dominion Energy online account, you can make a one-time payment from your checking/savings account or a digital wallet like PayPal or Amazon Pay. This option is free and payments post to your account immediately. Simply sign into your account and select “Pay My Bill.” You can pay the full balance or a partial payment.

One-Time Guest Payment

Don’t have an online account? No problem. You can make a one-time payment through Dominion’s authorized third-party vendor, Paymentus. There is a $1.65 fee per transaction for residential customers and $14.95 per transaction for business customers. The maximum amount per transaction is $1,000 for residential and $15,000 for business. Payments post immediately and you can use a credit/debit card or digital wallets.

Enroll in AutoPay

For ultimate convenience, enroll in AutoPay to have your bill automatically deducted from your bank account each month. There is no fee for this service and payments post in time for your due date so you’ll never miss a payment. You must have an online account to enroll in AutoPay.

Pay By Phone

Call 866-366-4357 to pay your Dominion North Carolina power bill by phone. Have your account number ready and note there is a $1.65 fee per transaction for residential customers and $14.95 for business customers. The maximum transaction amount is $1,000 for residential and $15,000 for business. You can pay with a credit/debit card or electronic check over the phone and payments post immediately.

To pay your Dominion bill by check through the mail, you have two options

Pay In Person

You can pay your Dominion North Carolina power bill in person at an authorized payment center, which includes Western Union locations, check cashing stores, and more. Find your nearest payment center on Dominion’s website. Bring your paper bill or know your account number. There is a $1.50 fee per transaction that must be paid in cash. Payments post to your account immediately.

Note that Dominion does not accept payments at its offices, only at authorized third-party payment centers.

Pay by Automatic Clearing House (ACH)

Businesses can pay by automated clearing house (ACH) transfer from their bank account to Dominion. There is no fee for ACH payments. You must contact Dominion to set up ACH payments and provide your bank account details. Payments will be electronically transferred on your due date.
