As a proud resident of Casper, Wyoming, paying your monthly water bill is essential to keeping your utilities running smoothly The City of Casper offers a variety of convenient payment options to fit every schedule and preference In this comprehensive guide, I’ll walk through everything you need to know about paying your Casper water bill.
After being a Casper resident for over 5 years, I’ve tried all the different payment methods and optimized a system that works best for me. Below I’ve outlined the various online, in-person, mail, and automated payment choices so you can determine the best option for your needs.
Paying Online
The easiest and quickest way I’ve found to pay my Casper water bill is to use the online payment portal. You can access it by going to casperwy.municipalonlinepayments.com and either registering for a new account or logging in if you already have one.
The portal allows you to securely pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check. It also lets you setup recurring payments, go paperless by enrolling in e-billing, and provides instant payment confirmation. I like paying online because it takes less than 5 minutes and I can do it from my phone or computer anytime.
Paying by Phone
If speaking to a representative is more your style, the City of Casper offers a telephone payment system available 24/7 by calling 1-888-757-9544. Just select option 2 and be prepared to enter your account details.
You can pay over the phone using electronic check, debit card or credit card. While convenient be aware there are additional service fees for non-electronic check payments.
Paying by Mail
Sending your payment via US Mail is still an option if you prefer Make your check or money order payable to City of Casper and mail to
City of Casper
PO Box 1110
Casper, WY 82602
Just make sure to allow up to 7 business days for delivery to avoid late fees. I recommend mailing your payment at least 1 week before the due date.
Paying at a Drop Box
The City of Casper has drive-up drop boxes at several locations around town where you can drop off your water bill payment by check or money order:
- City Hall – 200 N David St
- Metro Animal Shelter – 4211 S Bever Ln
- Public Services Building – 951 N Poplar St
Payments left in the drop boxes are collected daily. Just don’t wait until the due date in case of inclement weather or collection delays.
Paying at the Utility Billing Counter
In-person payments can be made at the Utility Billing counter located inside City Hall at 200 N David St. They accept cash, check, credit/debit, or money order.
Counter hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with the exception of Thursday when they are open 9am-5pm. I’d advise paying in-person at least 5 business days before your due date.
Enrolling in AutoPay
My favorite payment method is actually no payment at all! By enrolling in the City’s AutoPay program, my water bill is automatically deducted from my bank account each month.
There are no fees for AutoPay and I don’t have to worry about missing due dates. Just complete the EasyPay form on the website to signup.
