Paying your insurance bill on time is crucial to maintaining coverage, but who wants to deal with stamps, envelopes, and snail mail when you can pay online in just a few clicks? Access Insurance makes paying your bill quick, easy and convenient through their online payment portal. As someone who has used it many times myself, I’m going to walk you through exactly how to pay your Access Insurance bill online so you never miss a payment again!
Getting Started – Register Your Account
The first step to paying your Access Insurance bill online is to register for an account on their payment portal website Just go to https //paymentsaains.com/payment.cfm and look for the “Register” link.
You’ll need to provide some basic information like your name, email address, phone number, and password. Make sure you choose a strong password you can remember! Once your account is created, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a verification link to complete the registration process.
Logging In
Now that your account is set up you can log in any time to pay your bill or check payment history. Just return to the main Access Insurance payment page and enter your email and password.
If you ever forget your password, no worries! You can use the “Reset Password” link to reset it and get back into your account.
Locating Your Policy Number
To pay your bill, you’ll need your unique Access Insurance policy number This is usually an 8 to 10 digit number found on your insurance ID cards and statements If you can’t locate it, you can call Access Insurance at (888) 663-5443 and an agent can provide it.
Once you have your policy number handy, you’re ready to pay your bill!
Making a Payment
The actual bill payment process is simple and only takes a few minutes. On the payment page, fill in your Access Insurance policy number and the primary driver’s date of birth. This ensures the payment is applied to the correct policy.
Next, enter your credit or debit card information. Access Insurance accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. Make sure your billing address matches what your card issuer has on file.
Finally, confirm your payment details and amount due. Click submit and you’re done! The payment will be processed immediately and you’ll receive a confirmation email with your payment details. Super easy!
Payment History & Receipts
One of the great perks of paying your Access Insurance bill online is that you can log into your account anytime to view payment history and access receipts.
Under the “Payments” tab, you’ll see a record of all your past payments, including the date paid and confirmation number. You can click “View Receipt” to pull up a PDF copy of the receipt for any payment made through the online portal.
Having this payment information available 24/7 makes tax time and expense tracking a breeze!
Avoiding Late Fees
Paying online means never having to worry about a late payment again. Since it only takes a minute to log in and submit a payment, you can schedule a calendar reminder and pay your bill on time every month. No more late fees!
You can even set up autopay if you want your bill paid automatically each month on a certain date. Just log in, go to “My Profile” and enable autopay options.
Alternative Ways to Pay
While the Access Insurance online payment portal is the easiest way to pay your bill, they do offer some other payment methods if needed:
- Mail: You can mail in a check or money order payable to Access Insurance at:
Access Insurance
2211 Butterfield Rd.
Downers Grove, IL 60515
-
Phone: Call (888) 663-5443 to pay your bill over the phone using a credit or debit card.
-
In Person: You can pay at your local Access Insurance agent’s office during regular business hours.
Just keep in mind that online payments are processed faster, so I always recommend paying through the portal when possible!
Don’t Use Third-Party Payment Services
A word of caution – Access Insurance does not endorse using third-party bill pay services to pay your insurance premiums. Some examples are Doxo, Checkbook, Prism, etc.
While convenient, payments through third parties often take longer to reach Access Insurance and apply to your account. In some cases, this can cause lapses in coverage due to a payment delay.
To prevent any issues, I suggest always paying directly through the Access Insurance online portal or one of the other approved payment options mentioned above.
Remember Your Login Info
Paying your Access Insurance bill online really couldn’t be easier. Just be sure to save your login credentials in a secure place so they’re handy each month when it’s time to pay.
I like to keep my policy number, login email, and password stored in my password manager app for quick access. You could also jot this info down somewhere safe like a notebook or post-it note.
Following the steps above to register, login, and submit payments through the Access Insurance bill pay portal will keep your insurance coverage active and up-to-date. Now you can pay your bill in minutes instead of dealing with the hassle of using checks and mail. Give it a try next time your payment is due!
