Avoid Disconnection and Late Fees
No matter which payment method you choose, be sure to pay your bill by the due date to avoid penalties. HVUD charges a $35 disconnection fee and $30 returned check fee.
If your service is disconnected for non-payment, the full past due amount must be paid before it will be restored. Avoid extra fees and the hassle of disconnection by paying on time.

The Harpeth Valley Utilities District (HVUD), a public not-for-profit utility agency, provides water for about 59,392 residents living in the area of Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 1959, the Harpeth Valley Utilities District is currently obtaining its supply from a surface water source, the Cumberland River commonly known as Cheatham Lake.

What happens if I don’t contact Harpeth Valley Utilities District?

NOTE: A service charge of $30 will be made for each trip to the premises for the purpose of disconnection or reconnection for failure to pay a bill when due. NOTE: A $30 fee is to be charged for any check returned by a bank.
When is the Harpeth Valley Utilities District Board of Commissioners meeting?
The Harpeth Valley Utilities District’s regular monthly Board of Commissioners meeting for December 2023 will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the District’s office at 5838 River Rd., Nashville, TN. The remaining regular monthly meetings will be held at the normal time, on the 4 th Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m.
