How to Pay Your Harpeth Valley Utilities Bill Online, by Phone, or In-Person

Pay Online

The easiest way to pay your Harpeth Valley Utilities bill is online. HVUD has partnered with Paymentus to offer online account access, pay by phone, online credit card, and e-check payments. Here’s how to pay online:

• Go to wwwhvud.com and click on “Pay Bill” at the top of the page. This will take you to the Paymentus customer portal

• If it’s your first time using the portal, you’ll need to create an account Make sure you have your HVUD account number, location number, and the last 4 digits of your SSN or EIN handy.

• Once logged in, you can view your account balance and make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments.

• Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and e-check.

• There is a $2.95 convenience fee per transaction charged by Paymentus.

Paying online is fast, easy, and lets you avoid stamps, envelopes, and trips to the post office or HVUD office. You’ll have payment confirmation and record right away too.

Pay By Phone

If you prefer to speak to a real person, you can pay your Harpeth Valley Utilities bill over the phone.

• Simply call 844-291-3552 to reach the Paymentus automated phone system.

• You’ll need to enter your HVUD account number, location number, and the last 4 digits of your SSN or EIN.

• The automated system will read off your account balance and give you the option to make a payment.

• Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and e-check.

• There is a $2.95 convenience fee per transaction.

Paying by phone gives you the ease of paying from anywhere without internet access. Just call, enter payment info, and you’re done!

Pay By Mail

If you prefer paper bills and mailing in checks, HVUD makes it simple.

• Your monthly paper bill will include a return envelope you can use to mail in your payment.

• Make checks payable to Harpeth Valley Utilities District and mail to:

• You can also drop off the return envelope at any USPS mailbox. No need to buy stamps!

Paying by mail is a great option if you like paper record keeping and managing bills hands-on. Just slip your check into the return envelope and pop it in the mail.

Pay In-Person

You can also pay your Harpeth Valley Utilities bill in-person at one of two locations:

• HVUD Office: 5838 River Road, Nashville, TN 37209. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.

• Pinnacle Financial Partners Bellevue Office: 7651 Highway 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221. You can use the after hours night drop box to leave payments.

When paying in-person, be sure to have your HVUD account information handy. Both locations accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit/debit cards.

Paying in-person allows you to take care of your bill and get instant payment confirmation. It’s a great option if you prefer face-to-face interactions.

Auto-Pay and Bank Draft

For ultimate convenience, consider setting up recurring auto-pay or bank draft payments.

• Auto-pay through the Paymentus customer portal securely saves your payment info to process each month.

• Bank draft authorizes HVUD to automatically deduct your bill amount from your checking account each month.

These set-it-and-forget-it options mean you’ll never miss a payment deadline. Your bill is paid on time, every time. Contact HVUD customer service to set up bank draft payments.

Avoid Disconnection and Late Fees

No matter which payment method you choose, be sure to pay your bill by the due date to avoid penalties. HVUD charges a $35 disconnection fee and $30 returned check fee.

If your service is disconnected for non-payment, the full past due amount must be paid before it will be restored. Avoid extra fees and the hassle of disconnection by paying on time.
