If your BASA bill is not paid by the due date, you will incur a 10% penalty on the current charges. In addition, unpaid balances will accrue annual interest of 10%.

Check Processing Policy
It’s important to note that BASA submits checks for deposit within 24-48 hours of receiving them. They do not accept post-dated checks. Any fees related to post-dated checks will be the responsibility of the check issuer.

Butler Area Sewer Authority will bill you for service through October 28, 2024. For customers already receiving a water bill from Pennsylvania American Water, wastewater charges will be included on your next monthly water bill.
