About Pace Water System
Pace Water System is a member-owned cooperative utility providing water service to around 20,000 customers across northwest Florida. Their service area centers on Pace, FL and extends through Milton, Bagdad, and other nearby communities.
PWS is overseen by a 5-member Board of Directors elected from the membership. They employ a staff of 25 at their office in Pace. Field personnel operate and maintain over 300 miles of water mains, tanks, wells, and other infrastructure.
The co-op launched in 1976 to bring centralized water service to rural areas lacking public systems. Today, Pace Water utilizes 14 deep wells to supply clean groundwater. They operate 5 water treatment facilities to filter and disinfect the supply meeting all federal and state standards.
Understanding Your Pace Water Bill
As a PWS customer, you receive a monthly water bill for service to your home or business. Bills go out around the 25th of each month by mail or email.
The bill details your water usage in gallons along with account service fees. It will also list any other charges like security light fees if applicable.
The total balance due on your PWS bill must be paid each month by the 10th to avoid late fees You can pay the full balance or make installment payments, but the bill must be paid in full by the due date
Non-payment will result in water service being disconnected. PWS does offer payment arrangements for customers facing financial hardships.

AutoPay for Recurring Payments

We thank you for your patience during the 2024 upgrade to our customer service and billing software system! The green “Pay My Bill” button on our home page can be used to view your monthly bill, pay your bill online for immediate account posting, and set up autopay, if desired. We will be introducing new features in upcoming months as the system is fully integrated with the DropCountr app as well as our on-call system. You may have already noticed changes to our phone menu as we are beginning to integrate systems for more efficient routing of calls to the appropriate department.
