How to Pay Your York County Natural Gas Bill Online or In-Person

If you’re a York County, South Carolina resident that uses natural gas in your home or business, chances are you receive your gas supply from York County Natural Gas Authority (YCNGA) Paying your YCNGA gas bill on time each month is important to avoid any service interruptions In this guide, I’ll outline the different ways York County customers can pay their natural gas bill, both online and in-person.

Pay Online

The fastest and most convenient way to pay your YCNGA gas bill is online through their secure online payment portal To get started

1. Go to ycngacom and click on “Pay Bill” at the top right.

2. On the payment page, click “Authorize” to log into the portal. If new, you’ll have to register your account first.

3. Enter your YCNGA account number and 4-digit PIN. Your PIN will be the last 4 digits of your social security number by default.

4. Select whether you want to make a one-time payment or set up recurring automatic payments.

5. Enter your payment information and submit.

Once submitted, your payment will typically process in 1-2 business days. I recommend setting up auto-pay to avoid late fees. You’ll receive an email confirmation each time a payment is processed.

Pay by Phone

You also have the option to pay your YCNGA natural gas bill over the phone using their automated payment system.

To make a payment by phone:

1. Call 1-833-319-1035. This number is listed on your monthly gas bill.

2. Follow the voice prompts to enter your 10-digit account number and PIN.

3. Enter your credit/debit card details when prompted. Press 2 if paying with a checking account.

4. Your payment will be immediately processed. Make sure to record the confirmation number.

Note that you’ll have to fully enter your payment info each time when paying by phone instead of saving it to your account like with online bill pay.

Pay by Mail

If you prefer to mail in a check or money order payment, you can send it to:

Double check that you include your 10-digit account number on the check or stub so your payment gets credited properly. Allow 7-10 business days for mailed payments to process and avoid late fees.

Pay in Person

You always have the option to pay your YCNGA gas bill in-person at their office located at:

Their office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm. You can pay by cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card when paying in-person.

YCNGA also has a 24-hour walk up payment drop box outside their office where you can leave check/money order payments after hours.
