Understanding Your Water Bill
Metro Water bills for water service monthly and bills are typically sent in the first week of each month. The due date is approximately 3 weeks later, allowing time to review charges and make payment. Take a look at your new bill to see:

Pay Online
The fastest way to pay your water bill is online through the Xpress Bill Pay system, You can make one-time payments or set up recurring automatic payments
To use online bill pay, you’ll first need to register your account on the Metro Water website. After registering, you can log in anytime to view your balance and make payments by credit/debit card or e-check.
Online payments post instantly to your account. A convenience fee of $2.50 applies for e-check payments. Credit/debit card payments incur a 2.5% fee.
Pay by Phone
Call the Metro Water billing office at (520) 575-8100 to make a payment over the phone. You’ll need to provide your account number, home address, and phone number.
Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or electronic fund transfer from your bank account. Payments made by 6 pm process same day. A $1.50 convenience fee applies.
Pay by Mail
Simply detach the payment stub from your printed bill and mail with a check or money order in the return envelope provided. Make sure your account number is written on the payment.
Allow 5-7 business days for mailed payments to reach the Metro Water office and post to your account. Payments must be received by the due date to avoid late fees.
Pay in Person
Visit the Metro Water billing office located at 6265 N. La Cañada Drive, Tucson AZ 85704. In-person payments can be made Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, excluding holidays.

Sign up for the Automatic Bill Payment program to have your monthly bill paid automatically on the due date via electronic transfer. Payments debit from your checking or savings account at no charge.

In a rush at the last minute? Metro Water bills can be paid at any of the 35 Amscot Financial locations in Tucson. Bring your bill or know your account number. Cash payments only.

Late Payments and Fees
Metro Water bills not paid by the due date will incur a late fee up to $15 depending on your past due balance. Accounts more than 45 days past due may have water service interrupted until paid.
